The DNS Abuse Institute is excited to welcome Rowena Schoo as the Director of Programs and Policy. Schoo will serve as a critical part of the team whose mission is to combat DNS Abuse.

The Institute is well placed to lead this mission and I look forward to working with the wider community to make the internet a safer place.”Schoo has over a decade of policy experience in a variety of contexts, including digital, healthcare, education, and sustainability. Prior to joining the DNS Abuse Institute, Schoo worked on international policy engagement at Ofcom, the UK’s communications regulator. She previously worked as Policy and Government Relations Manager at Nominet UK, and for the UK government at the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport.
She is a creative and analytical problem solver with a passion for digital technology and the benefits it can bring to society. Schoo’s vast experience will enable the DNSAI to continue to strengthen its platform.
