NetBeacon Institute 2024 Report

In 2024, the Institute launched a refreshed brand identity to reach new audiences with its free services. NetBeacon Reporter surpassed 50,000 reports and added major new features, including a mitigation monitor, ccTLD integration, and automatic simultaneous reporting to hosts.

NetBeacon Institute 2023 Report

In 2023, the Institute introduced Specific Reporting in NetBeacon MAP to identify registrars and TLDs with high rates of malicious phishing and malware.We also launched free Individual Dashboards for registrars and TLDs, offering zone-specific data and peer comparisons.

NetBeacon Institute 2022 Report

In 2022, NetBeacon Institute advanced its mission to reduce DNS Abuse with the launch of NetBeacon (now NetBeacon Reporter), a centralized abuse reporting system, and DNSAI: Compass (now MAP), a measurement project tracking phishing, malware, and mitigation trends

NetBeacon Institute 2021 Report

In 2021, what is now the NetBeacon Institute was launched as the DNS Abuse Institute (DNSAI) by Public Interest Registry (PIR) to reduce DNS Abuse efficiently and practically. The Institute built partnerships across the DNS community, published best practice guides, and began developing resources to improve awareness and prevention of DNS Abuse.
